partly cloudy in the sierra nevada. right now, showers on the lee side and south of tahoe, but are getting closer. some very warm air aloft has settled in. but today, some temperatures are running 3-5 degrees cooler. there's a shallow marine layer. upper 40s, low 50s, mid-50s for some, another cool morning for parts of the russian river into, mine county, 40s, now most locations in the 50s. a little system there, you can see it spinning through. there's a bunch there. and each comes in, not very strong, but they prevent the high from building in. so the coast and bay stay in the 60s and 70 a. inland temperatures are coming up a little bit more, so i noticed it, you may not. some locations are back into the mid-90s. far enough inland, it's near 100, so sunny and warmer for most. i say that, because some areas -- 95 concord, pleasant hill, lafayette, 94. brentwood, 99, alameda, 72. livermore, san jose 76, san cruz hits the 80s. there's some night and morning fog, it stays near the coast. in land it was warm into friday. l
